Teacher Appreciation Week Plans

Planning for Teacher Appreciation Week
Monday May 7-Friday May 11, 2012

TEACHER APPRECIATION should go far beyond one week a year.  Nationally, schools, PTOs, Booster Clubs, students and parents recognize the hard work and dedication of their educators and school staff during this fantastic, well-deserved week.

A customer of my Etsy shop, Party PRINT-cess purchased the "Where the Wild Things Are" Candy Wrapper and is using it for a Teacher Appreciation Week give-away.  School days can be "wild" and teachers join the "wild rumpus" so why not thank them for it?  A very clever way to use a design in a whole new way.

This listing in my shop shows some other ways that
Party PRINT-cess can help through the planning of your school event.

Teacher Appreciation Week Printables and Gifts
Take your school colors and a mascot and some colorful candy and make a treat box especially for your teacher or staff at your school!

Red, white and black were the school colors for this school and a paw print to match!  Walmart had the small "fry box" shaped containers that were stuffed with red candy treats...Twizzlers, peppermint candies,  and strawberry candies.  Wrappers were designed and printed to wrap around the chocolate candy bars.  Cellophane and coordinating ribbon finish off the gift!  Easy and so appreciated.

Easter Treats!

Not only for Easter,....I think this cake would be SO cute for
a baby shower.  Don't you?
Easy to make....boxed cake or any
recipe you like best.  Frost the layered
cake and use bunny peeps to decorate.
Done!
(I heard you can keep peeps in the freezer for use later in the year...hence the baby shower idea!)
Frosted sugar cookies are always good
and fun to make.
Another cute addition to an Easter basket would be these homemade cross pops....
made from Jolly Rancher candies.

I made some this weekend and they turned out fine.  My next batch I'll make sure to use the center rack of the oven.
